Amanda and Ian celebrated their June wedding at Horse Stamp Inn in Waverly, Georgia. They were surrounded by their closest family and friends.

Their intimate wedding day was relaxed and personal. At the same time, it was full of the beautiful Southern scenery that makes this part of Georgia so special.

After watching the weather the day before, we were thrilled to wake up to blue skies and beautiful June sunshine. It could not have been a better wedding day.

An Intimate Wedding at Horse Stamp Inn

Amanda and Ian chose to keep their wedding small. Their closest family and friends gathered beneath the live oak trees for an outdoor ceremony.

From the moment guests arrived, the setting felt peaceful and intimate. Spanish moss and greenery surrounded the ceremony space beneath the oak trees.

The simple setup let the property shine. Because of the natural surroundings, the ceremony did not need much decoration to feel beautiful.

Sometimes, a wedding does not need to be complicated to feel special.

The ceremony space underneath the trees was one of my favorite parts of the day. The shade from the oaks, warm summer light, and simple ceremony setup created a beautiful backdrop without needing much else.

Sometimes the most beautiful wedding days are the ones that don’t need to be overly complicated.

A June Wedding Beneath the Live Oaks

Horse Stamp Inn offers plenty of beautiful spots for wedding portraits. The property includes the estate, tree-lined paths, open fields, and mature oak trees.

Because of that variety, we could create several different looks without leaving the property.

We started around the estate. Then, we explored the tree-lined drive and open pasture.

The result was a mix of classic portraits and relaxed moments. Meanwhile, the June sunshine made everything feel bright and warm.

Their florals were the perfect fit for the setting. Soft ivory flowers mixed with warm rust and orange tones. Together, the colors looked beautiful against the green landscape.

And then there was the horse.

🐴 Wedding Portraits at Horse Stamp Inn

One of my favorite parts of this wedding was the variety of portraits.

We photographed Amanda and Ian around the estate. From there, we moved beneath the oak trees and along the drive.

The pasture gave us another beautiful setting. Here, the photos felt open, relaxed, and very South Georgia.

Of course, we had to take a few portraits with the horse.

In the end, those became some of the most memorable images from their day. There is something pretty fun about adding a horse to your wedding portraits. πŸ˜‚

A Wedding Surrounded by the People They Love

More than anything, Amanda and Ian’s day was about being surrounded by the people who mattered most to them.

Their intimate ceremony gave them the chance to slow down and actually enjoy the people who came to celebrate with them. From walking down the aisle to portraits around the property, the day felt relaxed and genuinely personal.

And after all the weather worrying the day before, I’m pretty sure that gorgeous blue sky was the best possible wedding-day gift.
