If you’re searching for a Crosswater Hall at Nocatee wedding venue, Stephanie and TJ’s celebration was the perfect example of why this venue is such a favorite for couples getting married in Northeast Florida.

Located in Nocatee just outside Jacksonville, Crosswater Hall at Nocatee offers a modern, elegant setting with beautiful ceremony spaces and a spacious ballroom for receptions. Its location near Ponte Vedra Beach and Jacksonville makes it one of the most convenient and sought-after wedding venues in the area.

Stephanie and TJ’s wedding day was filled with joyful moments, heartfelt traditions, and so many thoughtful details that reflected their story.

How Stephanie & TJ Met

Like many modern love stories, Stephanie and TJ first met on a dating app — but their connection quickly grew into something special.

Stephanie is a Jersey girl with the sweetest personality (and the best accent – love you, girl!), and one thing that stood out immediately throughout the day was the love surrounding her from her big, supportive family.

Their wedding day at Crosswater Hall at Nocatee brought everyone together for a celebration that felt elegant, fun, and incredibly meaningful.

A Paris Proposal After a Hurricane Changed the Plans

TJ originally planned to propose in New York during Christmas, but life had other plans.

The couple had a vacation planned in St. Thomas when a hurricane threatened to cancel the entire trip. While sitting on the couch watching the Jacksonville Jaguars game in London, they jokingly started talking about alternative travel ideas.

That’s when inspiration struck.

TJ suggested they fly to London to attend the second Jaguars game the following weekend. While Stephanie thought they were simply planning a spontaneous trip, TJ secretly had an even bigger surprise planned.

Paris.

After quickly booking flights and picking up the ring from the jeweler, TJ asked Stephanie if she wanted to take a day trip to Paris while they were in London.

She said yes.

Early that Wednesday morning they woke up at 5 a.m. to head to Paris. When they arrived, TJ told her they had a food tour scheduled near the Eiffel Tower — but the “guide” waiting for them was actually a photographer.

While posing for photos near the river with the Eiffel Tower behind them, TJ got down on one knee and proposed.

And of course, the photographer captured the entire moment.

A Wedding Inspired by Their Paris Engagement

Stephanie and TJ even incorporated their Paris engagement into their wedding details.

Their invitation suite featured artwork inspired by the Eiffel Tower — a sweet nod to the unforgettable proposal that started their engagement.

It was such a thoughtful way to weave their story into their wedding day at Crosswater Hall at Nocatee.

Meaningful First Looks

Before the ceremony, Stephanie chose to share several incredibly special first looks.

She had a private first look with TJ, followed by emotional moments with her bridesmaids and her dad. These moments were filled with happy tears, laughter, and so much excitement for the day ahead.

First looks are always one of my favorite parts of a wedding day as a photographer. They give couples a chance to slow down and truly take in the moment together before the ceremony begins.

A Close-Knit Wedding Party (and Five Adorable Helpers)

Stephanie and TJ were surrounded by an incredibly close group of friends and family.

Their bridal party was tight-knit, supportive, and brought so much energy to the celebration. One of the sweetest parts of the day was seeing five little ones included in their wedding party.

Watching them walk down the aisle and celebrate alongside Stephanie and TJ added so much personality and joy to the day.

Sunset Portraits at Crosswater Hall

One of the highlights of the evening was stepping away for sunset portraits around Crosswater Hall at Nocatee.

The soft golden light created the most romantic atmosphere for Stephanie and TJ to enjoy a few quiet moments together before returning to the reception.

Sunset portraits are always worth carving out time for in a wedding timeline — and these images ended up being some of the most timeless from their entire day.

Jaguars Hats & A Packed Dance Floor

Stephanie and TJ also included one of the most fun reception details I’ve seen.

Since they’re big Jacksonville Jaguars fans, they had custom Jaguars hats embroidered with their names, wedding date, and “Bride” and “Groom.”

Guests loved them, and it was such a fun nod to the moment that helped spark TJ’s spontaneous proposal planning while watching a Jaguars game together.

Once the hats came out and the music started, the dance floor stayed packed all night thanks to Footloose Entertainment.

A Sweet Reception Surprise: The Gelato Cart

Stephanie and TJ surprised their guests with another unique reception detail — a gelato cart.

It was the perfect sweet treat for a Florida wedding and guests absolutely loved it. Little touches like this make weddings feel even more personal and memorable.
